A Canadian teacher accused of raping three pre-school age boys in Jakarta, Indonesia, arrived in court Tuesday hand in hand with his beaming wife to plead for his release.

Neil Bantleman, who worked at the prestigious Jakarta International School, was arrested in July along with a teaching assistant during a police investigation into the alleged sexual assault of three kindergarten students.

Bantleman and his co-defendant, Ferdinand Tjiong, could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
